• Sept. 20 -- The finishing order is posted! Please pass along your photos from the 5K, and any of your times. 2011 results are in the order runners finished, and are available now! E-mail photos to race director cpcasserly@aol.com.

• Thank you runners for an enjoyable race this year! We appreciate it so much. The weather was beautiful, the post-run music by Steve Noonan was fantastic, and even though we couldn't give you the race you wanted, we think most everyone had an enjoyable day! Thank you runners!

Autumn Daze 5K is now a run, not a race

• Sept. 16 -- The Autumn Daze 5K is now a run, not a race due to insurance issues. We cannot offer prizes to the fastest runners. We will offer our prizes a prize drawings. Please put your name in the prize hopper and we will draw winners at the post-race party.

• We're very proud to announce Minneapolis recording artist Steve Noonan and his band will perform LIVE at our post-race party!

• The new Tagline is in: To Run, To Ride! It's adapted from a 16th Century Mother Hubbard Tale, which fits our run to a T.

The Most Enthusiastic Volunteers!

• July 1 -- The St. Helena Autumn Daze 5K volunteers were awarded "Most Enthusiastic" at the Get-in-Gear race! You'll see them again on September 17 cheering you on!

• March 17 -- We are today officially half-way to the Autumn Daze 5K! Only 6 months from now the race is on!

• March 9 -- Due to our great volunteers in previous years, we're officially IN for volunteering at the Get in Gear race this year! And we've got a sweet gig: we've got our own Water / Gatorade stop on the River Road, on Saturday, April 30, 2011. We need 30 volunteers this time! Please e-mail the race director to sign up. FREE race food, beverages, T-shirt and extras!

Next Event: Get in Gear

• The next event for the Autumn Daze 5K will likely be the 2011 Get in Gear, Saturday April 30. We volunteer at that race to help us keep our costs low for the Autumn Daze 5K.

Thanks all 2010 St. Helena Autumn Daze 5K runners!

We had the largest number of runners in our 4-race history! Thank you all! Congrats to all winners and especially all the running stroller participants . . . especially those just along for the ride!

The Running Stroller Championships

• Our first winner in 2007 was Julie Casserly, pushing her son, James. Originally only moms had a prize as we were trying to boost our number of female runners. In 2009, fathers were added, and in 2010, twelve runners pushed 14 children in strollers!
• Many runners commented how glad they were to see a stroller-friendly race! 
• For safety, we start all strollers behind other runners, and no pets as that would be too much. No pets have been sitting in strollers, but if so they couldn't win a prize as officially the category is Parent & Child-in-Stroller. (We haven't had any golf club push carts either!)
• We hope for even more runners and running strollers in 2011.

Our Fifth Race

• 2011 marks our 5th race! Since 2007 the Autumn Daze 5K has strived to offer a great run at a great price. We hope you may join us this year!

Race Day Timeline:

St. Helena Autumn Daze 5K Registration:

• Online through Paypal
  • Click the "Add to Cart" button below to pay online (even for multiple runners) to race director Charlie Casserly (cpcasserly@aol.com, 612-722-1839)  All you need is a credit card, a Paypal account is NOT required for payment. You will receive a PERSONAL confirmation e-mail message. Multiple-registration payments are accepted; please make a note with the names of the runners.
  • Online registration ends Friday, Sept. 14, 2011, at 11:59:59 p.m..
     
  • 
  • Complete and sign Registration and Waiver Form. (Do this ahead of time and save time!)
  • Arrive at Number Pickup Friday or Saturday, hand in waiver form, and receive your race number & T-shirt coupon. Proceed at your leisure to the starting line on Saturday by 8:30 a.m.
     
• Through the mail, postmarked by Monday, Sept. 10, or dropped off at Parish Office:
