Where do I go:
The Church of St. Helena is located at
3204 E 43rd St., Minneapolis MN 55406, (Google Map).
Where may I park?
Parking is available in the parking lot
on the east side of the church, or plenty of parking on the surrounding
streets which are not on the course.
Bike Parking?
There is a bike rack near the school by
the finish line, or
a fence between the church and school. Lock your bike in any case.
Where can I register?
Register Online
now for $10 until Friday, September 14 at midnight. Register in person
after mass in September; by mail until Sept. 10 or dropping off a check
& waiver at the Parish Offices, in person at the festival on
Friday at 5 to 10 p.m., and Race Day Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8:28 a.m.
The 5K registration booth will be
under the Big Top on Friday, Sept. 14. On Race Day, Saturday the 5th,
registration
moves to 43rd Street by the front doors of the church.
How Much to Run?
Registration is $10 until 11:59:59 p.m., Friday,
Sept. 14. After that time, and on race day, registration is $15.
When does the race start?
The race begins at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, September
15. All runners must complete the course by 9:30 a.m.
Running Strollers:
We're proud to be the Running Stroller
Championships! For safety,
we may start the strollers behind all the non-stroller runners, except
perhaps for a reserved "Pole Position" spot for last year's winners. Remember, the over-taking runner is always the burdened runner; please
be extra careful.
There is no charge for the child in the
stroller! The child must also be the child of the runner pushing them,
as the race categories are mother-and-child and father-and-child.
Take the train?
The Hiawatha Line is only one block
east of St. Helena's, and only a couple more from the 46th Street
Station.
T-shirts?
There are T-shirts for the
Autumn Daze 5K run.
Chips?
No chips.
Dog or Pets?
Sorry, no pets. Our hands will be full
enough with the running strollers.
Where's the route:
See the Course
Map page for a complete description.
As this is an out-and-back course, please
run on the right side of the road as we will have 2-way foot traffic on
the route.
Why on the same route as the Parade?
In order to save considerable city
service fees, we're running the course on the day and the same route as
the Autumn Daze Parade. Stick around and enjoy the parade after the run!
Refreshments?
Water is
available at the turn. Cold bottled water and Powerade at the finish
line along with other race goodies! You may use your hot dog coupon at a
festival food booth when the festival food booths open shortly after the
race ends.
I have more questions, whom do I
