What a beautiful morning to race! Thank you to all runners in the St. Helena Autumn
Daze 5K! We hope you enjoyed the switch to a morning race, and we
hope you watched the Autumn Daze Parade right after.
This was our 3rd race, and we appreciate every one
of our runners. We especially want to thank the runners, listed in bold
in the results, who have ran all of them!

Autumn Daze' Bingo Concessions chair
Steven Clift made a great video, about the parade,
showing the festival, our balloon columns in the first few seconds, and
about 3 minutes of the festival and 7 minutes of parade footage,

2009 Race News:
Sept. 17, 2009 -- Looks like
beautiful weather for a run! The "No Parking" signs are up on the route;
no parking starting at 8 a.m.
Sept. 14, 2009 -- Ran the route this morning, lots of fallen leaves
already on the route, (plus, sadly, a few squirrels that didn't make it
across the road). Get your mailed-in registrations in today, last day to
be postmarked.
Sept. 11, 2009 -- Winners may ride in the Autumn Daze Parade in the
AD5K Pace Vehicle!, as many as can fit.
T-shirts coming soon, they're white
shirts with purple ink of this year's Running Woman logo. (They are the
opposites of the official Autumn Daze T-shirts, which are purple shirts
with white ink!) We ordered more than last year!
September 10, 2009 -- The
Holy Angels Starliners will be cheering on the runners along the
route this year as street marshals! More then 30 pompom-wavers
will be great motivation! Thank you Starliners!
Sept. 7, 2009 -- Registrations
are coming in now! And be sure to read the Autumn Daze Express,
the newspaper being delivered to your homes now! Our run has a story and our artwork too!
New Early Race Start -- Before the Autumn Daze
Parade!
July 23, 2009 -- The 3rd Autumn
Daze 5K has a new starting time: 8:30 a.m.! Be sure to get up early in
time to race this year! Registration will open bright and early at 7
a.m. in front of the church.
April 25, 2009 -- A big THANK YOU to all the St. Helena
volunteers who directed traffic, distributed runner's bags, and directed
runners find their t-shirts at the 2009 Get In Gear race! It
was so much warmer this year! We received a bonus to help with our race
expenses at Autumn Daze in September!
