Race Director's Note:

Thank you runners for an enjoyable race this year! We appreciate it so much. The weather was beautiful, the post-run music by Steve Noonan was fantastic, and even though we couldn't give you the race you wanted, we think most everyone had an enjoyable day!

Congrats to our repeat Mens champ Jeff Scovill, and Mens Stroller Champ for the 3rd year in a row, Chris Pikus & Zach!

It was our 5th race. Congrats to Dan Ankerfelt and John Casserly who have run all 5 runs! They have been "immortalized" on the T-shirts, along with Jody Larson would could not make it.

A special thanks to Registrars Brian Duffy and Molly Ganley, Chalker and Server Meghan Ganley, Lisa Taplin for the finish line buffet and Jim Kotchever for barricades.

 Autumn Daze 5K is now a run, not a race

• Sept. 16 -- The Autumn Daze 5K is now a run, not a race due to insurance issues. We cannot offer prizes to the fastest runners. We will offer our prizes a prize drawings. Please put your name in the prize hopper and we will draw winners at the post-race party.

One Month From Today!

• August 17 -- The St. Helena Autumn Daze 5K is exactly one month from today! We are lit dropping at various local races and holding signs at others. See you September 17. Register now!

• The new Tagline is in: To Run, To Ride! It's adapted from a 16th Century Mother Hubbard Tale, which fits our run to a T.

The Most Enthusiastic Volunteers!

• July 1 -- The St. Helena Autumn Daze 5K volunteers were awarded "Most Enthusiastic" at the Get-in-Gear race! You'll see them again on September 17 cheering you on!

Half-Way to the Autumn Daze 5K!

• March 17 -- We are today officially half-way to the Autumn Daze 5K! Only 6 months from now the race is on!

Get in Gear!

• March 9 -- Due to our great volunteers in previous years, we're officially IN for volunteering at the Get in Gear race this year! And we've got a sweet gig: we've got our own Water / Gatorade stop on the River Road, on Saturday, April 30, 2011. We need 30 volunteers this time! Please e-mail the race director to sign up. FREE race food, beverages, T-shirt and extras!
