Enrolling At St. Helena School

The first step to enroll your child in St. Helena Catholic School is to contact our office for registration materials.

 

Non-Discrimination Policy
The policy of St. Helena School to comply with state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination, to the end that no person(s) shall be denied or excluded from enrollment or participation in any educational program or activity operated by the school on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, gender, age, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, or disability.

Students are accepted in the following procedure:

The maximum enrollment in Kindergarten is 25 students. The maximum enrollment in all other grades is 30 students. The St. Helena School Board has established admission policies to determine placement into classes and waiting lists. Current students who have paid all tuition and fees have the first priority. After May 15, any student owing tuition or fees will not be guaranteed placement in the class for the following year. Priority for enrollment is as follows:

1. Any student who is current with tuition payments may register on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Students who have been dismissed from St. Helena School will not be readmitted.

Waiting Lists

Waiting lists will be kept for grades with over 30 students seeking admission. A waiting list for Kindergarten will be kept if over 25 students seek admission. Priority enrollment from the waiting lists is as follows:

1. Current students.
2. Siblings for current students.
3. Other parish families.
4. Non-parish families.

Only parents and legal guardians may register students.

Entrance to Kindergarten
Any child who will be 5 years old by September 1 may register.
